Lauren is a Solicitor in our Commercial Litigation Team, based in Cambridge.

Since qualifying as a Solicitor, Lauren has gained extensive experience in advising both corporate and individual clients on a broad range of commercial disputes. Lauren has also acted for clients in securing injunctive relief, as well as advising on the subsequent underlying proceedings. 

Lauren has developed a particular expertise in dealing with shareholder and director disputes. She has acted respondent-side on a number of unfair prejudice petitions, and has also advised both individuals and companies in respect of deadlock issues at both director and shareholder level. 

Other Information

Lauren completed her Law degree at the University of Southampton, before studying for the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, London Bloomsbury.

Following the completion of her training contract in March 2018, Lauren qualified into the Dispute Resolution team at a large Cambridge-based regional law firm. As a newly qualified Solicitor, Lauren worked on a mixture of commercial and property disputes.

Lauren previously worked as a Risk and Compliance Analyst at two international law firms, based in London, prior to starting her training contract. During her time in Risk and Compliance, Lauren specialised in resolving complex conflict issues (both technical and commercial). She also advised on professional regulation, professional indemnity and anti-money laundering issues.

Lauren has been previously named as Cambridgeshire & District Law Society’s ‘Trainee Solicitor of the Year’.

Outside of work, Lauren is a qualified scuba diver. She can usually be found planning her next far-flung global adventure and in recent years, she has travelled to Australia, Indonesia and Iceland.
