Jonathan joined Birketts in January 2021 as a Senior Associate in the Employment Team.
Jonathan assists businesses and individuals with a wide range of contentious and non-contentious workplace and HR issues ranging from discipline and grievance, settlement agreements, post-termination restrictions, redundancies/ reorganisations, TUPE as well as providing employment support on corporate transactions. He also regularly contributes to employment law articles as well as undertaking both presenting and training to clients.
Jonathan’s contentious practice includes significant experience of acting for clients with Employment Tribunal claims and dispute resolution, commonly dealing with complex claims involving whistleblowing and discrimination.
Jonathan provides commercial, clear and practical employment advice to clients and has been identified as a Rising Star by the Legal 500. He is also a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
Jonathan studied at the University of Leicester and qualified as a Solicitor in 2007 specialising in employment law.
