Rebecca qualified as a Solicitor in September 2013 and joined Birketts as an Associate Solicitor in the Residential Property Team in May 2019. 

Prior to joining the world of law, Rebecca completed a music degree at Trinity Laban in Greenwich where she studied the bassoon, before going on to complete the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in London.

Before joining Birketts Rebecca completed her training at a firm specialising in family law, before moving to the area of residential conveyancing in a regional firm in Essex. Rebecca's experience covers all aspects of freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, mortgages, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity, she can also advise with regards to declarations of trust.

Rebecca’s clients include private individuals as well as companies and she also works closely with a number of local authorities in relation to the acquisition of new properties. Rebecca prides herself on getting to know her clients and their transactions in order to their priorities at the heart of her work.

Rebecca also specialises in equity release matters and is a proud member of the Equity Release Council. By holding this membership she agrees to follow stringent principles to ensure her clients receive the high level of service that they deserve.

Rebecca is based in our Chelmsford office.

Other Information

Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys walking and hiking as well as playing her bassoon and singing in a number of orchestras and choirs.
