Experience

Molly joined Birketts in September 2017 as a Trainee Solicitor. In September 2019 Molly qualified as a Solicitor into the Family Team in our Ipswich office.

Her first seat was with our Property Litigation Team where she assisted with a range of matters, including property disputes between separating cohabitees (under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996). Molly has gained valuable experience conducting (with supervision) litigation in the County Court and preparing and advising clients at mediation. Her second seat was with our Family Team and her third seat was with the Employment Team in our Ipswich office. Molly’s fourth seat was with our Private Client Advisory Team in Norwich

Other Information

Molly graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2016 with a 2:1 in Law. During her degree, she regularly volunteered at Norfolk Community Law Service, a legal advice charity based in Norfolk, which advises on a range of matters including those related to family, employment and debt.

Molly went on to achieve a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School in Cambridge in 2017. She undertook modules in Employment Law, Property Law, Civil Litigation and Private Acquisitions.
