Experience

Naomi Baker qualified as a Solicitor in April 2018, following successful completion of her training contract at a local firm in Colchester. During her Training Contract Naomi gained experience in Residential Property, Civil and Commercial Litigation, Employment and Wills, Trusts and Estates.

Naomi initially worked as a solicitor in general Civil Litigation dealing with a range of disputes including Property, Contentious Probate, Negligence and Breach of Contract, before joining the Property Litigation Team at Birketts in March 2020. 

Naomi has experience in advising residential and commercial clients and agents on a range of contentious property matters including Leasehold Enfranchisement, residential Landlord and Tenant disputes, residential Leasehold disputes, TOLATA claims and Easements. 

Other Information

Naomi graduated from the University of Exeter in July 2015 with a 2:1 in Law before obtaining a distinction in her Legal Practice Course from BPP Law School in Cambridge, which she studied alongside working full time as a Trainee Solicitor.

In addition to advising clients of Birketts, Naomi volunteers at the University of Essex Law Clinic on a pro bono basis, supervising students who interview and advise clients in the local community. 

In her spare time, Naomi is an Assistant Scout Leader and Trustee for a local Scout Association in Essex. She is a keen baker and enjoys travelling whenever possible.
