Nicole joined Birketts in 2020 as a Trainee Solicitor and qualified into the Construction and Engineering Team in March 2022.
Nicole specialises in non-contentious construction matters and acts for a wide range of clients in both the public and private sectors, including employers, developers, contractors and consultants.
Nicole advises on various construction matters and routinely drafts and negotiates construction documents inclusive of building contracts, professional appointments, collateral warranties and deeds of novation, and is familiar with standard and bespoke forms of contracts. She also has a keen interest in acting for both purchasers and vendors on the construction aspects of real estate investment transactions.
Prior to joining Birketts, Nicole completed her LPC at The University of Law in London and spent 18 months working as Legal Counsel to a large engineering consultancy firm.
Nicole graduated from the University of Essex with a first class Law Degree, going on to complete the LPC/LLM at the University of Law (Moorgate), undertaking electives in commercial dispute resolution, employment law, commercial law and law and business.
Outside of work Nicole enjoys spending time with family and friends and walking her dog in the countryside.
