Shayleen Abdul



Shayleen qualified as a Solicitor in September 2019. She joined Birketts in 2019 and is a Solicitor in our Commercial Property Utilities Team

Her core practice involves transactions relating to gas, electricity, fibre and water infrastructure for specific development sites across the country. She specialises in all aspects of this work including negotiating and drafting transfers, leases and deeds of grant for the various utilities infrastructure. Shayleen prides herself in striving to provide an excellent standard of service as expected by her clients and in a timely manner. 

Shayleen gained experience at a regional firm, undertaking seats within residential conveyancing, private client and employment law whilst running a full residential conveyancing caseload at the same time. 

She is based in our Ipswich office.

Other Information

Shayleen studied Law at the University of East London and completed her Masters in Law together with her Legal Practice Course at BPP University (Cambridge). 

Outside of work, Shayleen enjoys long hikes with her dogs and reading. She has also volunteered at St Elizabeth Hospice assisting them in their Spin Cycle fundraising event.
