Deborah is a Partner in our International Private Client Team, based in our London office.
Deborah has over 20 years’ experience of advising international families on all aspects of UK tax, trust and succession law. She also advises international trust and fiduciary providers, family offices and global financial institutions on multi-jurisdictional trust and governance issues.
Her work includes advising on tax residence and domicile, the tax and succession implications of non-resident and/or non-domiciled individuals owning assets in the UK (in particular the acquisition, structuring and ownership of UK real estate), cross-jurisdictional succession advice and advising on the UK tax treatment of offshore trusts and companies with UK resident beneficiaries or participators. Deborah also has particular expertise in drafting complex precedent and bespoke trust documentation, governed by a variety of international laws.
