Catherine Halton-Farrow

Chartered Legal Executive


Catherine joined Birketts in July 2019. She is a Chartered Legal Executive in our Commercial Property Team

Prior to joining Birketts Catherine worked at a local law firm working on a mix of agricultural and residential property matters, advising clients on matters such as farm business tenancies, applications for first registrations of farm land, and the sale of land for development. In addition she has experience handling other property matters such as deed of easements and the modification of covenants.

Catherine also has particular experience handling the sale and purchase of high value properties, including listed buildings, and more generally all property-related matters such as remortgages, matrimonial transfers, new build transactions and barn conversions.

Catherine has specialist knowledge of leasehold properties and in particular lease extensions.

Catherine now handles real estate investment work, including assisting on acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold properties, leases, management work and financing.

Other Information

Catherine read Law at the University of Warwick and graduated with a first class law degree in 2012 and completed her CILEx studies in 2016.

Outside of work Catherine is busy renovating her Georgian cottage with her husband. She is also an avid fitness fanatic and is often seen at the gym, and when she can, she attempts a round of golf.
