Jack Shreeve

Jack qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in August 2018 and joined Birketts in March 2019. He qualified as a Solicitor in September 2019 and is an Associate in our Commercial and Technology Department.
Jack specialises in commercial agreements with a particular focus on technology agreements (including digital transformation projects, website development projects and software licencing agreements). Jack advises a wide spectrum of clients from technology start-ups to established technology clients.
Since joining Birketts, Jack has developed considerable experience in drafting and negotiating Software as a Service (SaaS) agreements from both a supplier and a customer perspective. Recently, this has involved drafting documentation for the online Birketts Shaping Excellence e-learning courses. This required drafting two sets of separate terms and conditions for operating the e-learning course as a Software as a Service model and as a SCORM file.
Jack has also assisted a leading leisure brand in regard to its digital transformation project covering the brand’s customer facing platforms. This has involved reviewing and advising on SaaS agreements, website development agreements, support services agreements and API licences.
Prior to joining Birketts, Jack worked at a local firm in its Commercial Property/Corporate Department.
Jack is a member of the Society for Computers and Law.
