  • Experience

Naomi is a Senior Associate in our Property Litigation Team, based in our Norwich office.

Naomi is experienced in all areas of property litigation. She takes a pragmatic and commercial view of property disputes, advising clients upon the merits of their case, their options, and the proportionality of litigating through the courts and/or tribunals.

Naomi has carefully guided her clients through alternative dispute resolution including mediation and negotiation and, if the only or most cost-effective option is to litigate in court, Naomi is a confident and robust litigator working efficiently alongside counsel to maximise her clients’ prospects of success. Naomi works closely and is well connected with colleagues across our business, assisting with and advising upon strategy to guide clients smoothly through their transactions.

Naomi assists our Agriculture clients, advising on termination of leases governed by both the Agricultural Tenancies Act 1995 and Agricultural Holdings Act 1986, and more generally in land-related issues involving boundaries, covenants, easements and dilapidations. Naomi’s experience also covers residential tenancy disputes including possession claims and breaches of tenancy in the context of Housing Act 1988, Rent Act 1977 and other more complex agricultural residential tenancies. Naomi is part of our Equine and Landed Estates sector groups, and she is therefore well-positioned to assist our private clients with the varied issues which crop up in relation to their property and landlord/tenant relationships.

Naomi is experienced in advising our Commercial Property clients, including our Real Estate Investment group clients, on asset management matters. She has litigated Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 renewals and advised on complex estate management matters, such as to excluded and protected lease termination strategy, dilapidations and break notices.

Naomi’s advisory work also covers core land queries in relation to boundaries, neighbours, adverse possession, covenants and easements, enforcement proceedings, and leasehold and freehold issues. Naomi is a member of the Property Litigation Association.
