Adam qualified as a Solicitor into our Agriculture and Estates Team in October 2017 and became a Senior Associate in October 2023. He is based in our Sevenoaks office.
Adam deals with a range of agricultural matters while acting for farmers, landowners, agri-businesses, banks and tenants. His experience includes advising on the acquisition and disposal of farms and rural property; secured lending; general estate management matters and tenancies. Adam also has experience of dealing with more complex land transactions including pre-emption agreements, option agreements and overage agreements.
Adam is named as an ‘Associate to Watch’ by Chambers [UK 2025].
Adam is a fellow of the Agricultural Law Association and a Council Member of the Kent County Agricultural Society.
Recent work highlights
Acted on behalf of an agricultural lender in respect of security for a whole farm refinancing including over 1500 acres of agricultural land, residential properties and commercial units.
Acted for a farming partnership in respect of retirement of outgoing partners, transfer of land and buildings, re-financing, the resolution of various property issues arising and registration of unregistered parcels.
Acted on the sale of a block of farmland. The sale being subject to the agreement of both a pre-emption agreement and a long-term overage agreement.
