Birketts’ Agriculture and Estates Team is pleased to confirm that it now has an additional three Fellows of the Agricultural Law Association amongst its ranks.
Sarah Ellero, Oliver Evans and Mark Towey have now passed their exams and been confirmed as Fellows. They join the existing Fellows at the firm including Rachel McKillop Wilkin, Sophia Key, Annabelle Rout, Tom Verrill, Ed Bellamy, Adam Burden, Leo McMahon and Chris Hoxley.
Chris Coupland, Head of the Agriculture and Estates Team, said: “This is a great achievement, passing the exams requires an in depth and practical knowledge of the law relating to agricultural estates and how to advise them. The number of Fellows within our team across all offices shows the depth of skill and expertise we have that enables us to advise our clients to the high standards they expect.”
Ed Bellamy, Senior Associate Professional Support Lawyer for the Agriculture and Estates Team, added “The ALA Fellowship is the highest standard of qualification available in Agricultural Law in England and Wales, to pass it requires a significant amount of study, experience and expertise to achieve. The ALA Fellowship course is a great programme studied by many professionals across the agricultural advisory sector, including accountants and land agents in addition to lawyers. Being able to network and learn alongside these individuals allows a greater learning of shared knowledge and best practice.”
