Amber qualified as a Solicitor in the Property Litigation Team in our Ipswich office in September 2024.
Amber advises both commercial and residential clients on a wide range of disputes and their obligations, including easements, restrictive covenants, and boundary-related matters. She also assists the team in dealing with residential possession claims which include serving s8 and s21 notices, issuing proceedings and attending Court on behalf of the client.
Amber first joined Birketts in June 2019, working as a Paralegal in the Planning Team before commencing her training contract in September 2022. Amber did seats in the Private Client Advisory Team, the Employment Team, the Banking and Finance Team and a split seat in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Team and the Property Litigation Team.
Prior to joining Birketts, Amber graduated from The University of Sheffield with a First Class degree in Psychology in July 2016, she obtained legal work experience at her local County Council and went on to complete a mini pupillage at Octagon Legal. She then began working for a local law firm in Norfolk, gaining experience in the Property, Litigation and Planning departments.
Amber completed her GDL in June 2019 and her LPC in October 2021, whilst continuing to work part time at the firm, and achieved a Distinction in both, completing an elective in Advanced Real Estate.
