Benjamin Squirrell

Ben joined Birketts in September 2023.

He is a Graduate Solicitor Apprentice in our Commercial Real Estate Team and is based in our Ipswich office and forms part of the specialist SIPPs Team. Ben deals with a variety of commercial real estate work including:

• Freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals
• The grant of Leases, Licences, Tenancies
• Deeds of Variation and Deeds of Surrender
• Acting in a checking capacity only on the purchase of commercial property by a SIPP
• Acquisition by pension schemes by way of an in-specie contribution or transfer.

Before joining Birketts, Ben graduated from the University of East Anglia (UEA) after completing a degree in Law with European Legal Systems. Prior to joining the team, Ben spent his final year of his degree studying at Uppsala University in Sweden where he completed a while range of international law modules to expand his academic horizons.
