Daniel is a Partner in our Shipping and International Trade Team. He joined Birketts in September 2023 from Ince & Co.
Daniel specialises in all forms of marine insurance claims, in particular in the yacht and superyacht industry. He has advised and acted on a variety of matters including policy coverage, collision, damage and salvage claims, theft and fraudulent claims, and defending marine trade professionals, harbour authorities and marinas. Daniel also has experience in cargo/freight claims covering all aspects of carriage of goods by sea and road, and warehousing.
Daniel also has significant experience acting for non-marine insurers in complex property damage claims. Daniel also forms part of our Insurance Sector Group.
Daniel is based in our Bristol office.
