Daniel Fletcher

Daniel joined Birketts as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2023 based in our Cambridge office.

Daniel is currently in his third seat with the Corporate Team. His second seat was with the Construction & Engineering Team. Daniel’s first seat was with the Planning & Environmental Team.

Areas of expertise:

As a Trainee Solicitor at Birketts, Daniel is developing expertise in the following areas:

• Corporate Law: Drafting and reviewing transactional documents, supporting corporate transactions.
• Construction & Engineering: Familiarity with various contract suites (JCT, NEC), handling both transactional and contentious matters.
• Planning & Environmental Law: Assisting with environmental regulations, rights of way, planning applications, and judicial reviews.

Experience & education

Daniel has prior work experience as a Legal Administrator and in several different customer service roles.

Before joining Birketts, Daniel studied Law at the University of Sunderland in which he achieved a first-class degree. He then studied the Legal Practice Course with BPP University in Bristol. Daniel completed electives in Private Acquisitions, Corporate Finance and Advanced Commercial Litigation.
