Daniel is an Associate in our Employment Team based in our Cambridge office. He joined Birketts in January 2024.
Daniel specialises in advising education, commercial and finance clients in all facets of employment law including Employment Tribunal claims; settlement agreements; employment contracts; staff handbooks and policies; day to day employee relations; managing sickness absence; and grievance and disciplinary issues. Daniel also advises employees and executives in relation to settlement agreements and bringing Employment Tribunal claims.
Daniel has particular experience in defending unfair dismissal and discrimination claims. Daniel is also experienced in delivering training, seminars and webinars on a broad range of employment topics including employment law, the Employment Tribunal process and ill-health and disability.

Employment due diligence and advice on the sale of Ridgemount Technologies Limited to leading passive network infrastructure provider, Emtelle.
Reviewed and amended an employee handbook for a large family managed business.
Negotiated a settlement with an employee alleging disability discrimination for a local technology business.
