In the past Dannie was welcomed to Harvard and MIT as a potential future student, spending a week at MIT as part of the Sutton Trust Fulbright Scholarship Scheme; and at the same time as completing her A-Levels (receiving A*, A, A), she studied and scored highly on the ACT (American College Aptitude Tests).
In summer of 2017, Dannie graduated from the University of Exeter with an upper second class honours undergraduate degree in LLB Law. After graduation, Dannie gained legal leveraged finance experience working as a research analyst for Covenant Review which were acquired by Fitch at the time of her moving to her next position, with the aspiration of career development. After Covenant Review, Dannie moved to a paralegal position in the banking team at a US-based international law firm, in London. Her work focused on high-yield bonds and loans, mostly dealing with LMA loan agreements, as well as ISDA agreements for derivative transactions.
She then relocated to the Dengie Peninsula and took a short career break to be with family during a time of need. Since then, she has moved to Norwich to continue her career.
In the future Dannie intends to undertake further courses such as the SQE or LPC to qualify as a Solicitor within Birketts, primarily focusing on Banking and Finance.
Dannie is on maternity leave.
Dannie has enjoyed voluntary work in the past, for the local Catholic Church taking elderly and infirm pilgrims to Lourdes, helping run a summer camp for underprivileged local youth, an internship with CAFOD (Catholic Agency For Overseas Development) in the social justice team, as well as raising money for charity through sponsored challenges such as runs and working in the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance charity shop. She remains passionate about pro-bono and charity.
