Dominika joined Birketts as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2023 and is currently in her third seat in the Employment Team in Ipswich.
She assists the team on a variety of contentious and non-contentious matters for both employers and employees. This including advising on employment contracts, settlement agreements, managing sickness absence, employment tribunal claims, disciplinary and grievance issues and redundancy.
Dominika’s second seat was in the Commercial Real Estate Team in Ipswich where she assisted the team on a range of commercial property transactions including acting for landlords and tenants, developers and investors.
During her first seat in the Corporate Team in Ipswich, Dominika assisted the team on a range of corporate matters, including acquisitions and disposals, group restructurings and general company law matters.
Prior to joining Birketts, Dominika graduated from the University of Manchester with a First in Law. She then studied the LLM Legal Practice (SQE 1 & 2) at the University of Law, completing electives in Commercial, Employment, Family and Advanced Real Estate. She had also worked as a Paralegal in residential conveyancing and defendant personal injury.
