Birketts advises on sale of Imagine That

Birketts has advised the shareholders of Imagine That Group Limited (Imagine That) on its sale to Gemini Books Group (Gemini Books).
Imagine That is an award-winning family-owned independent publisher and packager of high-quality, exciting and innovative children’s books, based in Woodbridge, Suffolk. Purchaser Gemini Books is a newly formed group of companies launched in 2023 by well-known industry figure Marcus Leaver.
The Birketts team was led by Rachel Astill (Legal Director, Corporate) and assisted by Alexandra Nelson (Partner, Corporate), Sam Varney (Solicitor, Corporate), Dominika Dahm (Trainee Solicitor, Corporate), Stacy Aspden (Legal Director, Commercial Property) and Robbie Watson (Senior Associate, Corporate Tax).
David Henderson, former shareholder of Imagine That said: “I am very proud of the business that we have built, and I would like to express my thanks to Rachel and the team who provided timely and commercial advice and support that resulted in a successful sale.”
