Emma advises a wide range of clients on all aspects of private client advisory work.
Her work includes Will making, estate and inheritance tax planning, the creation and administration of trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Emma is also experienced in dealing with probate applications and administering estates. She advises executors in relation to the administration of both taxable and non-taxable estates and has experience dealing with more complex estates, such as those including agricultural, business and international assets. Emma provides guidance to executors throughout every stage of the probate process and she has experience advising beneficiaries on the redirection of assets via deeds of variation.
Emma was admitted as a Solicitor in September 2019, after training with the firm. She is a Solicitor in our Private Client Advisory Team and is based at our Norwich office.
Emma studied law at the University of East Anglia, where she was awarded the Sweet & Maxwell Prize for attaining the joint highest mark in her first year. She graduated with a first class degree in 2016 and went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School in Cambridge, achieving a distinction.
