Gemma qualified into the Private Client Advisory Team in September 2021, having completed her training contract with Birketts.
She is based in the Chelmsford office. Gemma assists with the preparation of Wills, UK succession and tax planning, trust work, Lasting Powers of Attorney and estate administration.
Gemma grew up in Chelmsford. Gemma graduated from the University of Sussex with a First in Law and went on to achieve a distinction in the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Guildford.

Assisting a couple with putting in place a declaration of trust, recording unequal deposit contributions, for their new property purchase.
Assisting executors to administer both non-taxable and taxable estates.
Preparing a deed of variation to vary a beneficiary’s entitlement under the intestacy rules.
