Jennifer is a Solicitor in the Planning & Environmental Team.

Jennifer has a broad practice advising on contentious and non-contentious matters relating to the environment, planning and public access to land. She works for a wide range of clients including manufacturers, waste management businesses, farmers, landowners, developers and private individuals.

Her experience includes work relating to environmental permitting, environmental prosecutions, planning enforcement and appeals, due diligence as part of corporate transactions and statutory nuisance.

Jennifer is a member of the UK Environmental Law Association Waste and Environmental Litigation Working Parties. She is also the UKELA Co-Convenor for the East of England. She has more than a decade of experience in the heritage and environment sectors.

Experience & education

Jennifer has a 2:1 in French & German from the University of Cambridge and was part of the first cohort to sit the Solicitor Qualifying Exams (SQE), passing both SQE 1 & 2 in the top quintile.

She trained at Birketts and qualified as a Solicitor in 2024. Prior to becoming a Solicitor, Jennifer worked in the USA, Europe and UK in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors including for the European Parliament in Brussels.
