With extensive experience advising clients on complex transactions within the Commercial Real Estate sector, Julia has cultivated a reputation for providing strategic, commercially focused advice. Her expertise extend across a wide range of real estate matters, allowing her to cater to a diverse range of clients including corporate entities, funders, borrowers, developers, owners of strategic land sites as well as educational institutions.
Julia advises on secured lending transactions, landlord and tenant matters, acquisitions and disposals, refinancing, asset management and various strategic development projects. Julia also provides support to the corporate and property finance teams regularly advising on complex property aspects of multimillion pound banking and M&A transactions.

Recent work highlights
Acting for a landowner in connection with the disposal of a multimillion-pound strategic land site to a national housebuilder. The transaction also involved drafting and negotiating deferred consideration provisions secured by way of first legal charge.
Acting for landowners (a complex trust) in connection with the grant of a fixed term option to a developer for residential development of a 20 acre site. Including dealing with complex occupational arrangements to ensure vacant possession was secured at the requisite time.
Acting for a borrower client in connection with securing development finance, an £11m facility secured against part of the borrower’s property, carefully navigating the intricacies of charging part of a property.
