Laura Hodgetts

Laura was admitted as a Solicitor in 2006 and originally joined Birketts in 2013 from a large regional firm.

Following a short career break to look after her young family, Laura re-joined Birketts’ Private Client Advisory Team in January 2021. Laura is based out of our Cambridge office. 

Laura advises individuals and their families on all aspects of private client work including drafting tax efficient and flexible wills, succession and tax planning, the creation and administration of trusts and ancillary trust documents, advice in relation to partnership agreements, the administration of estates and lasting powers of attorney. Her caseload includes higher net worth clients, business and land owners.

Laura also has a particular interest in advising independent PRs appointed in disputed estates.

Laura is a full member of the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
