Laura Hodgetts has nearly 20 years’ experience advising individuals and their families on all aspects of private client work.
She provides guidance on lifetime estate planning and succession matters, inheritance tax, the creation and administration of lifetime trusts, and the preparation of Wills.
She also advises on all areas of deceased estate administration, with particular expertise in complex estates, challenging family dynamics, and matters requiring the appointment of an independent administrator.
Laura works closely with Birketts’ private wealth disputes team to provide specialist support on the law relating to Wills, inheritance tax, and estate administration. She also assists with implementing out‑of‑court settlements and court‑ordered directions to ensure that contentious matters are resolved efficiently and effectively.
