Lily joined Birketts in August 2023 as a Paralegal in our Charities Team. Lily also provides support on charity property matters, including assisting with Land Registry dealings and pre-completion and post-completion responsibilities. Lily is based in the Ipswich office.

Before joining Birketts, Lily worked at the University of Leeds in the School of Law as a Teaching Assistant. This involved teaching on undergraduate modules including Company Law, Land Law and Torts Law, delivering seminars and skills workshops to a diverse student body.

Lily previously graduated from the University of Leeds with a First Class LLB Law degree and was awarded a prize for achieving the highest degree average among her cohort. In her dissertation, Lily analysed homonormativity in the legal sphere and advocated for substantive reforms to redress inequalities. Her paper has since been published in the Leeds Student Law and Criminal Justice Review Journal and on HeinOnline.

Outside of work, Lily enjoys travelling and snowboarding.
