Natalie qualified as a Solicitor in 2008.
She joined the Commercial Real Estate Team at Birketts in September 2010 as a solicitor working on a variety of commercial property transactions including real estate finance. Since 2019 Natalie has been a member of the Real Estate Finance Team in the Norwich office. The team primarily acts for banks and specialist lenders in taking security over commercial, mixed use and residential buy to let properties across England and Wales
Natalie’s real estate finance work includes advising lenders including specialist lenders on acquiring security over a broad spectrum of properties from buy-to-let properties, to mixed use, commercial and development sites.
The Real Estate Finance Team has particular experience in working with lenders using lender indemnity insurance policies to back their loans and reduce due diligence on a volume basis and can support lenders who are looking to implement this on their transactions.
Natalie also leads our dedicated borrower team acting for investment borrowers obtaining finance from a variety of lenders and has expertise in navigating lender’s requirements in both remortgage and purchase transactions.
