Patrick Cooney is a Partner in our construction and engineering team and is based in our Cambridge office.
Patrick joined Birketts in 2021 from a global law firm and is a Partner in the firm’s construction and engineering team and based in our Cambridge office.
Patrick has a particular focus on major infrastructure and logistics projects including nuclear power stations, railways, motorways and some of the largest data centre projects in Europe. Patrick is part of the firm’s Energy and Infrastructure group and is head of the firm’s specialist data centre sector.
Patrick also has extensive experience advising clients in the public and education sectors.
Patrick also advises on dispute resolution in construction projects and is often engaged by clients at an early stage to resolve disputes before they escalate to a formal dispute process such as adjudication or litigation.
