Rafal joined Birketts in October 2022 as a Solicitor in our Residential Development Sector Group.
Rafal has a mixed real estate background and acts for a number of national housebuilders, regional and SME developers, land promoters as well as landowners in relation to residential development of the land and providing strategic advice relating to the sale, purchase, and management of the real estate assets.
Rafal also deals with development financing, infrastructure and strategic planning with a view to identify and understand potential problems and possible development constraints in order to provide clear advice and solutions to issues faced by the clients.
Rafal is based at our Chelmsford office and works with colleagues in the Planning, Tax, Banking and Finance, and Corporate teams.
Recent work highlights
The grant of an option agreement to a regional developer as part of a wider sale of the land, which also included an unconditional sale of another part of the land and further option for easements.
Dealing with infrastructure agreements including substation transfers and leases, deed of easement, wayleave agreements etc. to various statutory undertakers.
The sale and purchase of land conditional on planning whether on behalf of an individual or a company including first registration and the sale of land on behalf of charities and trusts.
