Our SMILE alumni continue to make impressive strides in their academic journeys. Among the most recent cohorts, the majority are now enrolled in higher education, with representation across leading universities such as the University of Exeter, University of Kent, University of Birmingham, and University of Westminster. This demonstrates the programme’s success in supporting students as they transition into competitive degree pathways.
Sixth form students remain a significant part of our alumni network, with participants currently studying at institutions including East Norfolk Sixth Form, NCC Havering Sixth Form, Long Road Sixth Form College, and The Sandon School. This reflects the diversity of entry points into our talent pipeline, ensuring we engage students at different stages of their education.
We also have alumni taking alternative routes, such as gap years, before pursuing further education or career opportunities.
This data reinforces the impact of SMILE in building a strong, diverse pipeline of future talent and maintaining connections that support long-term career success.
