Lottie Fletcher

Senior Associate


Lottie joined Birketts as a trainee in 2010, qualifying as a Solicitor in September 2012. She is a Senior Associate in our Corporate, Banking and Finance Team.

Lottie has a wide variety of experience over a number of areas including: 

  • advising both lenders and borrowers in relation to debt financing. This includes preparing and reviewing security documentation, inter-creditor arrangements and facility agreements. Lottie has acted on multi-million pound re-finance and acquisition finance projects;
  • advising on asset and share acquisitions and disposals in a range of industry sectors dealing with all aspects of the transaction; and
  •  advising in relation to public company matters including issuing bonds on listed markets and a £30m takeover by way of scheme of arrangement.

In addition, Lottie has a particular interest in family owned businesses and has acted for various businesses in this sector in relation to corporate governance, shareholder disputes and share acquisitions and disposals. 

Lottie is an active member of the firm’s family-owned business initiative.

Other Information

Lottie studied History and Politics at York University and then went on to study for the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course, for which she was awarded a distinction, at BPP Law School in London and Leeds respectively.  

Outside of the office Lottie enjoys horse riding, the theatre and has recently discovered an enthusiasm for golf due to participation in the Drive golf networking group.
