Birketts advises Foresight on investment into Clearview Endoscopy Ltd

Birketts has advised Foresight Group on its £6 million investment into Clearview Endoscopy Limited.
Foresight Group is a sustainability-led alternative assets and SME investment manager. The company manages £12.2 billion for some of the world’s largest institutional investors, private and high net-worth individuals. In 2019, Foresight launched it £100m East of England Fund with the aim of investing into established companies with a view to developing management and deliver a growth strategy.
Clearview works with NHS trusts and private clinics to proactively limit endoscopy down times through fast and reliable repairs combined with a broad endoscope temporary lending offering. As the number of endoscopies increases year on year with the growing clinical focus on minimally invasive procedures and early diagnosis of diseases like bowel cancer, Clearview’s services help to reduce waiting lists in NHS trusts, allowing clinicians to detect and treat issues as early as possible.
Foresight’s investment will enable to appointment of a new management team and will accelerate Clearview’s growth. The buyout is being led by Darren Likely, previously Managing Director of Agar Scientific, who will join as CEO. The investment will also enable to company to expand its service offering while creating high quality jobs across the East of England.
