Ben joined Birketts as a Trainee in 2017, qualifying as a Solicitor into the Corporate Tax Team in September 2019.

Ben’s experience to date has included advising on mergers and acquisitions, reconstructions and demergers and employment taxation (including the taxation of employee incentive arrangements and share schemes). Ben regularly advises on the SDLT and VAT implications of property transactions and is able to assist clients with their queries relating to potential overpayments of SDLT.

As part of his training with the firm, Ben also gained a solid grounding in our Corporate, Commercial Property, Employment and Employee Incentives practice areas by undertaking seats in each department.
