Emily O’Donnell
Emily O’Donnell is a Partner in our private client advisory team and spearheads the firm’s cross office landed estates practice group.
Emily specialises in advising Landed Estate owners, whether trustee, corporate or individuals, on succession planning matters including trust work (including Settled Land Act trusts) and tax planning.
Emily has a wealth of experience in matters relating to inheritance tax mitigation, particularly agricultural and business reliefs, including “Balfour” planning. Emily also has a particular interest in heritage property tax reliefs.
Prior to joining Birketts, Emily qualified and practised as a Solicitor with a specialist private wealth City law firm before joining the Landed Estates Team for a large national law firm.
Emily is part of the Cambridge Private Client Advisory Team but also spends time across all our offices developing and supporting the Landed Estates practice group.
