Jamie joined Birketts in August 2022 from a firm in the City, having qualified there in 2008. Jamie is a Senior Associate in our Commercial Real Estate Team.
Jamie deals with all aspects of commercial property including landlord and tenant work, disposals and acquisitions, development and property finance.
Jamie specialises in investment property, having acted for institutional investors and unregulated co-investment syndicates for many years, She also acts for a number of occupiers in the leisure and hospitality industry.
Jamie acts for a wide range of clients including investors, developers, syndicates, retailers and occupational tenants.
Recent experience includes:
- Acting on the disposal of two property portfolios by a large investment fund. The portfolios comprised different types of property, from offices to warehouses and were valued at £189 million and £28 million;
- Acting for a major London airport in an on-going long-term project to regularise the legal ownership of all the cables and substations on site
- Acting for a national high street clothing retailer in the negotiation of over 50 leases in both high street and shopping centre locations.
Jamie obtained a first class honours degree from the University of Kent and was admitted as a Solicitor in September 2008.

In her spare time, Jamie is kept busy with her two young children and is also a keen supporter of her beloved football club, Sunderland AFC.
