Joseph joined Birketts in the Commercial Real Estate Team in May 2023, and was promoted to Associate in October 2024. He is based in our Ipswich office.
Since qualifying, Joseph has advised on various aspects of commercial property law including:
- Acting for experienced corporate entities with large property portfolios and individual landlords and tenants on both new and renewal leases and conditional agreements for lease.
- Sales and acquisitions of land and buildings for uses ranging from bare land, retail and industrial warehousing.
- Advising landowners, developers and promoters on matters involving strategic land for development including conditional contracts, promotions and option agreements.
Joseph is focussed on achieving the best outcome for his clients and takes a keen interest in understanding their individual and business needs.
Recent work highlights
August 2023 – Leading real estate advice for acquisition of large regional marina by national port controller.
June 2024 – Advising national real estate investor in its acquisition of 129,865 sq. ft business park, Norwich.
September 2024 – Advising a large regional developer in its acquisition of a 4.6-acre development site in Elmswell, Suffolk.
