Joseph Whinney

Joseph joined Birketts as a Solicitor in the Commercial Real Estate Team in May 2023, having previously trained and practiced at a large regional firm. He is based in our Ipswich office.
Since qualifying, Joseph has advised on various aspects of commercial property law including:
- Acting for experienced corporate entities with large property portfolios and individual landlords and tenants on both new and renewal leases and conditional agreements for lease.
- Sales and acquisitions of land and buildings for uses ranging from bare land, retail and industrial warehousing.
- Advising landowners, developers and promoters on matters involving strategic land for development including conditional contracts, promotions and option agreements.
Joseph is focussed on achieving the best outcome for his clients and takes a keen interest in understanding their individual and business needs.
