Josephine Devoti

Josephine (better known as Josie) is a Trainee Solicitor in her third seat in our public sector team (property focused).   

This builds on Josie’s previous experience in the public sector team where she assisted with work on public procurement, commercial contracts, subsidy control advice, and commercial real estate transactions. Josie has returned to the team to focus on commercial real estate transactions primarily for local authority clients.

Previously, Josie has also sat within the commercial real estate team in the Ipswich office, where she assisted clients with property transactions including leases, sales and title registration issues.

Prior to her Training Contract, Josie was a Paralegal in our banking and finance team based in Chelmsford. Josie assisted the team with advising and acting on behalf of both borrowers and lenders on acquisition finance and real estate finance transactions.

Josie also volunteered at the Hertfordshire Family Law Clinic whilst studying at university and currently volunteers at the Suffolk Law Centre through Birketts.
