Katrina is a Legal Director based in our Cambridge office.

Katrina qualified as a Solicitor in April 2010 and spent 8 years working in a dual property and construction role before specialising in construction matters on joining Birketts in July 2018.

Katrina’s construction practice focuses purely on non-contentious construction matters, with a particular emphasis on where traditional construction law meets Real Estate law; drawing on her previous experience. As such, she regularly assists our Real Estate and investment teams, carrying out due diligence exercises and drafting and negotiating documents related to property acquisitions and disposals. She also has a particular specialism working closely with the Social Housing sector in acting for clients procuring residential plots from major housebuilders.

In addition; Katrina acts for a variety of both public and private sector clients, including local authorities, funders, developers, contractors, sub-contractors and consultants. She advises on industry standard form contracts (such as JCT, NEC, ACE, RIBA, RICS etc), as well as regularly preparing and advising on bespoke forms of contract.
