Kye is a Trainee Solicitor currently in his third seat in our Employee Incentives Team. In this seat Kye assists the team with the implementation of a wide range of incentive arrangements for employees including tax approved and non-tax approved share option schemes and employee ownership trust (EOT) matters.
Kye’s second seat was with our Employment Team in Ipswich. In this seat Kye assisted on a variety of contentious and non-contentious matters for both employers and employees. This including advising on employment contracts, settlement agreements, managing sickness absence, employment tribunal claims, disciplinary and grievance issues and redundancy.
Kye’s first seat was with the Charities Team in Ipswich. In this seat Kye assisted members of the team with a broad range of matters, including registering new charities, making applications to the Charity Commission, carrying out governance reviews, restructuring existing charities (including incorporations, mergers, and dissolutions) and updating governance arrangements of existing charities. Kye also assisted with academy conversions and re-brokerings.
Prior to Kye starting his training contract, Kye was a Paralegal in our Corporate Team. In this role Kye assisted the team with a wide range of corporate matters, including acquisitions and disposal, restructurings, and investment rounds. Kye also assisted the Banking Team with various refinances.
