Lauren is currently in her third seat of her training contract in the commercial real estate SIPPs/SSASs team in the Ipswich office which acts for some of the UKs leading pension providers.
Lauren has previously trained in our regulatory and corporate defence team which covers a broad range of advice including corporate and regulatory crime, health and safety, environmental crime, fatality and serious Injury work, financial crime, license applications, public inquiry and inquests, building and fire safety, general crime (Magistrates or Crown Court), transport and logistics. Lauren has also trained in our private client advisory team, assisting with Wills, lasting powers of attorney and estate administration. Before commencing her training contract, Lauren was a Paralegal in our real estate finance team, part of the wider commercial real estate team based in our Norwich office. Her role included the handing the refinance or purchase of commercial, semi-commercial or Buy to Let properties from a lending perspective.
Prior to joining Birketts, Lauren graduated with an LLB Law degree from The University of Warwick and completed her LLM Legal Practice (Solicitors) Course at BPP University.
