Maria Peyman is the Head of our Intellectual Property Team and is based in our Cambridge office.
More than 20 years’ experience of acting for clients on a full range of IP disputes involving patents (including patent ownership), copyright, trade marks, and design rights, as well as passing off, and breach of confidence.
In addition to her specialist IP work, Maria has experience of broader commercial litigation in relation to matters such as contractual disputes, this expertise is key when advising in disputes where IP assets are a core feature, for example breach of contract relating to IP and disputes regarding ownership of IP assets.
Maria’s practice incorporates advising on domain name disputes and representing clients in actions using Domain Name Dispute Resolution services as well as at Company Name Tribunal matters. She also advises on social media related disputes, in particular with aspects of defamation.
Maria is fluent in Spanish. Maria is an Allied Member of CITMA.
