Molly joined Birketts as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2023. She is currently in her Third Seat with the Property Litigation Team in Ipswich.
Molly’s second seat was with the Administrative and Public Law Disputes Team in Cambridge. She helped the team with procurement challenges, discrimination claims, education disputes, SEND matters, student issues and claims made by vexatious complainants.
Molly’s first seat was with the Planning and Environment Team in Ipswich where she assisted on planning, environmental and public rights of way matters. Amongst other things, this included an application to register a Town and Village Green, objecting to planning applications, applying for lawful development certificates, and reviewing planning and highways agreements. She also gained exposure to a variety of environmental offences.
Experience & education
Molly studied Law at the University of York, securing a first-class degree. She then studied the LLM Legal Practice (SQE1 and 2) at the University of Law, passing both sets of exams in the top quintile. During her LLM, Molly completed electives in Competition Law, Advance Dispute Resolution, International Trade and Family Law.
