Olivia joined Birketts in January 2021. She is a Senior Associate in our Real Estate Investment Team in our Norwich office.
Olivia assists leading real estate investment firms, managers and institutional investors with their commercial real estate. This includes the acquisition and disposal of large retail parks, office blocks and other prime commercial property, whilst dealing with any required financing. Olivia assists clients with implementing their asset management strategies, which involve granting new leases and lease renewals, dealing with lease surrenders, licences for alterations, licences to assign or underlet and advising clients on Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 formalities.
Olivia also has extensive residential property expertise, previously advising on all aspects of prime residential real estate including sales and purchases in the London property market for a large international law firm in London. This work also involved the subsequent management of large property portfolios for clients and advice to developers on new-build projects.
Olivia studied Law at the University of Nottingham and graduated in 2012, before commencing the Legal Practice Course at University of Law, Bloomsbury. She qualified as a Solicitor in September 2016.
