Rhianna is in her forth seat in the Family Team in Chelmsford.
Rhianna’s first seat was in Property Litigation which involved working on a wide range of contentious issues for both private individuals and commercial clients including repossessions, breach of covenants, boundary disputes, adverse possession claims, right of way claims and residential disputes.
Rhianna’s second seat was in Real Estate SIPPs/SSAS in which she acted for some of the UKs leading providers. Her work included acting on a range of transactions such as the grant of leases, acquisition and disposal of freehold and leasehold land and Loanback agreements.
Rhianna’s third seat was split between the Private Client Advisory Team and Private Wealth Dispute Team. She, therefore, has experience in preparing Lasting Powers of Attorneys and Wills as well as claims relating to the validity of wills and trusts and claims brought under the Inheritance (Provisions for Family and Dependants) Act 1975. Rhianna also has experience in assisting executors to administer the estate in addition to resolving disputes which have arisen regarding the appointed executors and/or trustees.
Prior to joining Birketts, Rhianna studied Law at the University of East Anglia achieving a first-class honour in June 2021. She then went on to complete the Solicitors Qualification Examination 1 & 2 and Masters Degree in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Law in Leeds.
During her undergraduate degree, Rhianna volunteered for a legal aid organisation and participated in several competitions in advocacy and alternative dispute resolution. Rhianna continues to volunteer for local legal aid providers to support the local community.
