Rosie is a Solicitor in the Property Litigation Team in our Chelmsford office.
Rosie joined Birketts as a Trainee in September 2022 and qualified into the Property Litigation team in September 2024.
Rosie advises on a range of contentious issues for both private individuals and commercial clients. Within the commercial sector, Rosie assists with lease renewals, dilapidations, effecting forfeiture or considering relief from forfeiture, break clauses, and disputes relating to breaches of covenant. Rosie also has experience assisting with residential property issues, including the service of Section 8 and Section 21 notices, issuing possession proceedings and rent deposit disputes. Rosie also advises in relation to easements, restrictive covenants, and boundary-related matters.
In addition to spending six months with the Property Litigation team, Rosie’s previous seats have been with our Agriculture and Estates Team and the Housebuilder Team, where she has strengthened her property experience assisting landowners through agricultural property transactions, and developers with site acquisitions and residential development. Rosie spent her third seat with the Family Team in the Ipswich office.
Prior to joining Birketts, Rosie studied a degree in Law with Psychology at the University of Southampton, graduating with a First Class Degree. Following this, she went on to study the Legal Practice Course and graduated with a Distinction.
