Phillip Hopkins

Phillip joined Birketts as an Associate in the Corporate Team in September 2022 having gained a wealth of corporate and commercial experience at his previous firm in Norwich where he dealt with a range of transactions and matters of varying size, value and complexity. He initially qualified as a planning law Solicitor in June 2016 at Norfolk County Council having previously worked as a clinical trials insurance broker for an international insurance company.

Phillip acts for clients on a wide range of corporate transactions including acquisitions, disposals, corporate funding, investments and general corporate governance. Phillip also advises clients on general corporate matters including shareholders’ agreements, partnerships, director duties and company incorporation.

Phillip is based in our Norwich office.

Phillip graduated from De Montfort University in July 2008 with a 2:1 degree in Law. He went on to achieve a commendation in the Legal Practice Course (LPC) from Anglia Ruskin University in June 2010.

In his spare time, Phillip enjoys travelling, theatre, art, dining and socialising with friends and family.
