Ben Green

Ben joined Birketts in August 2021 as a Paralegal in our Real Estate Finance Team, part of the wider Commercial Property Team, based in our Norwich office before moving on to become a Trainee Solicitor in September 2022.
Ben is currently in his final seat in our Private Client Advisory Team, based in our Norwich office. Ben assists with a range of matters including Wills, LPAs, estate and inheritance tax planning, and the creation and administration of Trusts.
Ben’s third seat was in the Corporate Team where he assisted the team on a range of corporate matters, including disposals and acquisitions, group re-organisations, fundraising rounds, and general company law matters.
Ben’s second seat was in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Team. Ben assisted the team and advised clients on a wide range of disputes such as professional negligence claims, breach of contract claims and debt recovery. Ben also assisted our specialist Contentious Trust and Probate Team on matters such as claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, challenges to the validity of Wills on grounds of undue influence and lack of knowledge and approval, and breaches of Trustees’ duties.
During his first seat in the Real Estate Investment Team, Ben assisted with a wide range of matters including the acquisition, disposal, financing, and asset management of high-value commercial property portfolios. Ben gained experience of working on behalf of both borrowers and lenders, as well as for landlords and occupiers.
Prior to joining Birketts, Ben studied a degree in LLB Law at The University of Kent, graduating in 2020 with a First Class Degree. Following this he went on to study the Legal Practice Course with integrated Masters in Law, Business, and Management at the University of Law graduating in 2021 with a Distinction.
