Anousha Davies is a Trade Mark Attorney in our Intellectual Property Team.

Anousha Davies specialises in brand and design protection and enforcement. She acts for clients in contentious and non-contentious matters involving trade marks, designs, passing off and copyright. Anousha handles all aspects of trade mark and design matters, including availability searching, prosecution, enforcement and the commercialisation of IP through licensing. She has extensive experience with UKIPO contentious proceedings, including oppositions, invalidity and non-use revocation actions. Anousha also manages international settlement negotiations, co-existence agreements and has experience in conducting IP audits.

Anousha forms part of our Food and Beverages Team and has built up a wealth of experience in clients in the food and beverages sector. She advises her clients on trade mark and design portfolios, including brand development (liaising with client’s dedicated marketing teams to identify brands which work for the client’s business aspirations), exploitation, diversification and navigating brand tie-ups. Anousha is also experienced in advising those in the food and beverages sector on packaging and labelling choices.

Anousha has authored articles for reputable industry publications, such as Law 360 and the CITMA Review. Her legal commentary regarding ‘dupes’ in the fashion and beauty industry has appeared in Women’s Health magazine. She regularly writes articles concerning noteworthy cases in the IP world.
