Paul joined Birketts in August 2018 from a leading City firm.
He is a Partner in our Commercial Real Estate Team.
Paul has experience across the built environment sector, acting for landlords, tenants, investors, developers and funders, both from the UK and from overseas. In particular he has expertise acting for institutional investors on higher-end acquisitions and pro-active asset management programmes across a range of properties – from ‘trophy’ London office premises to out of town retail or industrial parks.
On the development side Paul has worked on long term redevelopments of individual buildings as well as much wider schemes for residential and associated development, drawing in planning and construction expertise as appropriate. He has a depth of experience in strategic land and promotion agreements, options and overage agreements, acting for major housebuilder clients here at Birketts. He is also heavily involved in the land elements of nationally significant infrastructure projects.
Paul’s approach is responsive and commercial – a calm negotiator who gets things done.

Acting for a pan European Real Estate Fund on the £200m + acquisition of a retail park.
Long standing advice on strategic land acquisition, promotion and development of a 69ha site for the residential development for up to 1250 new homes.
Advising a family owned commercial property investment and development company across its UK portfolio, including the recent acquisition of a premier regional multi-let 40 acre business park.
